I wonder what a jar of organic cherries or peaches would cost to produce locally. Obviously, shipping is expensive due to breakage and weight.
Another option is DRIED food. I suppose I'll have to look into that, there's a lot of info on solar dehydration. I used to order organic dehydrated fruit, but it's just nothing like canned fruit. It's so DRY.
