Just because Williams was right about the oil prices dropping doesn't mean that he'll ALWAYS be right. After all, he doesn't claim to be psychic or that God talks to him, he only tells what his sources tell him. THEY could be wrong or deliberately feed him false forecasts.
However, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict that oil prices will stay low. With the global economy deteriorating, our demand for oil should STAY low.
And I completely agree with the recommendations:
2. Plant a garden.
3. Get out of debt. He said debt is the main weapon of subversion and control used by "these people." (My note. I totally agree with that remark unless all of your debt is unsecured and you own no real assets. Can't squeeze blood from a stone.)
4. Store lots of food. "The farm economy is collapsing."
Of course I do NOT recommend buying the overpriced "emergency food supplies" so heavily advertised. I just buy canned food when it's on sale at the supermarket and USE it -- trying to rotate. I did throw some canned food from the 90s away last year, but NOT because it was bad. I think it would have been edible, but the beans just didn't look good.
Personally, I like canned tomatoes with various spices, soups and fruit like pineapple. And I stock up on pasta. But, YOU buy whatever YOU like. Yesterday I posted on STORING foods and preventing BUGS. It definitely helps to have a big freezer.
Growing food is not nearly as easy as it sounds, but give it a try if you have time/space. I don't need a collapsing economy to enjoy FRESH organic food. It's a no brainer.
I've been recommending that near judgment-proof people stop paying their unsecured debts for over a year now. So, if you owe a lot and you're STILL paying your credit cards and you're not "all set" for tough times, I highly recommend you STOP financing the biggest banking fraud ever!
