At Park Seed they have the bio domes.  Look cool, but quite expensive:

Make your own soil blocks, no root bound plants and in the long run a lot cheaper.  The people at the forum like them. It's cool to be able to make your own "pots".

One person at a garden forum uses cardboard egg cartons.  I have a few of those too.  And I've been saving the plastic containers with lids from strawberries or cakes.

I'm so excited that my little "greenhouse" addition is almost done.   A month late, but better late than never.
